Slack is seeking a Director of Demand Generation to join our dynamic EMEA Marketing team. This role, based in Dublin, offers an outstanding opportunity to lead and drive the EMEA Demand Generation team encompassing campaign orchestration, campaign management, content, messaging, email, digital and webinar functions. This is a meaningful role that requires positive relationships with cross-functional teams to accelerate the adoption of Slack by customers of all sizes, and deliver pipeline and revenue growth. The ideal candidate to join our growing team is a data-driven, strategic, experienced marketer and business leader. The Director, of Demand Generation will help us scale our demand generation function at pace with our rapidly growing EMEA audience and educate the world about what's possible with Slack.

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of EMEA Marketing, you will be responsible for the strategy and implementation of the demand generation plan that spans the following areas:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the regional EMEA demand generation team, encourage and mentor a team of functional specialist professionals, and help them grow their careers within Slack.
  • Deliver marketing pipeline to meet annual goals, and achieve key performance indicators for the business across pipeline creation, maturation, and ACV conversion, with a strong focus on marketing return on investment.
  • Lead all demand generation channels, resolve tactical mix between integrated campaigns, digital advertising, SEO, webinars, nurtures, and social.
  • Engage with our web team to ensure that inbound traffic converts to leads.
  • Set program goals, analyse demand generation performance, draw insights, and present results to facilitate data-driven decisions.
  • Improve operational processes and reporting related to demand generation programs to measure effectiveness, performance, and return on investment of marketing spend.
  • Maintain a feedback loop between sales and marketing to optimise lead generation campaigns and find opportunities for pipeline acceleration and sales conversions.
  • Evaluate, select, and manage outside vendors that contribute to demand creation programs, monitor existing and developing technologies to help Slack in demand gen efforts
  • Build, manage, and maintain Senior-level stakeholder relationships across regional marketing, web, and corporate marketing functions to ensure that cross-functional coordination is seamless.

Requirements:

  • 10 - 15 years of Marketing experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS technology company.
  • Experienced at building out a scalable demand generation function that drives predictable pipeline activity.
  • Expert at developing, executing, and measuring innovative and results-focused demand generation programs and campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Established a reputation for driving both strategy and holding team members accountable for great execution.
  • Demonstrated analytical experience, specifically around program measurement and return on investment and program execution skills.
  • Track record of partnering with a HQ central team to contribute to global demand generation strategy as the EMEA regional lead.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, prioritisation skills.
  • Highly motivated, detail oriented and a self starter with vision.
  • Passionate about Slack and the problem we are solving.
