Who we are looking for

You will join a team of quantitative researchers who are responsible for the R&D of real-time market tick data, pre- and post-trade transaction cost analytics covering three asset classes: FX, Fixed Income and Equities. We employ quantitative methods ranging from novel machine learning to more traditional statistical methods. This Developer role offers you the opportunity to learn from world leading quant in the Intraday space.

Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office (20 Churchill Pl, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HJ) with some flex work opportunities available.

What you will be responsible for

As Quantitative Researcher and Development VP, you will

  • Lead development of web applications in an Enterprise environment
  • Be responsible for all analytics model development
  • Provide research ideas for client execution
  • Implement research ideas in the production system

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
  • First class product knowledge and understanding of FX, Fixed Income, Equities and Crypto
  • Experience of handling large data sets
  • Experience in leading Development teams across multiple regions
  • Experience in designing low latency system
  • Expertise in Financial industry protocols such as FIX
  • Experience on any of the JMS/Messaging tools like Apache ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Message Brokers, Kafka, etc.
  • Experience in AWS Migration of hosted applications
  • Linux/Docker Knowledge
