Quality Assurance - Team Lead

Role Summary & Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience in functional and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of testing complex software applications and systems to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This position will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, developing and maintaining automated test scripts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and technical specifications.
  • Execute test cases and report results to project stakeholders, including identifying and documenting software defects.
  • Work closely with development teams to reproduce and troubleshoot software defects.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools.
  • Perform manual and exploratory testing to ensure software meets quality and performance standards.
  • perform the Database testing for data migration projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software is delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest level of quality.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and automation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in functional and automation testing of complex software applications and systems.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficient in ETL, Data Migration Testing process.
  • Strong understanding of SQL queries.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as UFT.
  • Experience in scripting languages, such VB Scripting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
  • Good understanding of Capital Market domain.
