Role Summary & Role Description

Looking for Quality Assurance Engineer who perform the planning, creating and executing manual and automated software test activities. In addition will execute and report on planned tests, report and manage defects, regress software fixes for new and existing products, assist development with replicating and debugging problems and develop new test solutions as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and Develop high quality software solution aligned to the business goals.
  • Follow requirements analysis, creates test plans and manual/automated test cases for each of the assigned applications.
  • Determining regression testing scope for each project.
  • Reviews and updates the regression testing pack after each release.
  • Executes manual and automated tests as defined in the test plan.
  • Works closely with other test teams, development teams, project managers, analysts, and deployment and support personnel to support project and department goals.
  • Should be able to work independently and collaboratively.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum 6+ years' experience in software testing.
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in Simcorp product (Fund Accounting system)
  • Proficient in HP QTP- UFT for Test Automation is must.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Proficient in HPQC/ALM for test case and defect tracking is must.
  • Proficient in RTC/JIRA is required.
  • Should have solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Should have hands-on experience in software testing and agile methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong ability to work in fast-paced environment and ability to multitask with ease is essential to the success of this position
  • Track record of leading complex test projects in a hands-on way and mentoring others in test automation design and implementation.
  • Capable of understanding and documenting incidents. Effectively manage incident information and test status information to improve project and process
