We're looking for a creative producer who is passionate and curious about the digital landscape to lead project teams from briefing to final delivery. You have a finger on the pulse of design and technology trends to ensure our projects are cutting-edge and resonate with current and future audiences. You have a strong background in project managing and some experience producing visual, web, and interaction design. You are comfortable working closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and product marketing.

You should excel on projects that are within your digital expertise, and also be open to producing projects outside of your comfort zone. You need to be accustomed to navigating the unknown: proactively getting information from other teams and moving things forward despite budget or changing timelines.

This is a hybrid role that reports into our Creative Operations Manager as a part of our award winning in-house creative team in our New York headquarters.

You'll Get To...

  • Scope and produce assigned projects that come into our Creative team.
  • Partner with supporting senior producers on complex projects.
  • Collaborate with our internal creative, marketing and product teams by recommending strategies and outlining detailed plans on how to accomplish a project.
  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for the project team and vendors from inception to completion.
  • Seek out and champion better internal processes as we grow and produce varied work in-house.
  • Deftly negotiate budgets and schedules to ensure and defend that projects are finished with Squarespace quality.
  • Resolve creative conflicts or disagreements and know when to escalate issues.

Who We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience making creative work at a brand, product, and/or an agency.
  • Experience producing web design with a detail-oriented aesthetic
  • Comfortable developing project scopes, timelines, and budgets
  • Self-starter who is motivated to figure out new ways to produce work

Cash Compensation Range: $85,500 - $138,000 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
