The Digital Operations group drives and delivers operational excellence, strategy, process, production, and support for the digital studio team. This team builds the foundation for the Brand by reinforcing marketing with the tools, structure, metrics, and best practices to enable success. In this role, you are responsible for the digital production as it relates to go-to-market campaigns, merchandising, maintenance, and other channels throughout the business that require digital support. This role requires a wide scope of ecommerce experience, working in and around different digital channels, and ability to support the team in producing content, with both digital and creative cross-functional partners to help build an inclusive, inspiring work environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of production and QA of web related project. This includes marketing campaigns, direct to consumer initiatives, maintenance, and seasonal merchandizing requests on Patagonia.com.
  • Responsible for communication to collaborators in relation to delivery and approval.
  • Works with Build and Release Manager to ensure production deployment timelines for web assets and QA of web content.
  • Collaborate with all regional web producers, digital designers, digital editors, merchandisers, digital operations, and development to meet deadlines.
  • Daily check-ins and prioritization with Digital Operations team.
  • Complete weekly production of content and assets through posting phase by following deadlines.
  • Responsible for completing the necessary tasks for SEO needs as requested by the Search Engine Marketing & Optimization Manager.
  • As needed, take on special projects to support other team members. 
  • Interface with all members of the Digital Studio teams to keep daily projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Support site copy and functionality maintenance. 
  • Troubleshoot site problems and fix incorrect data as needed. Quality assurance of product information, content, functionality, and images displayed on Patagonia.com.
  • Responsible for the proofing of web assets, (including but not limited to) image assets, captions, banners, shop pages, etc. on a regular basis.
  • Continuously evaluate and propose new content improvements and functionality with Digital Product.
  • Support email producer on html building, QA, and testing.

Experience You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in the field and/or a related area.
  • Proficient with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Knowledge and experience of web page building and site maintenance processes preferred.
  • Previous content management systems experience and understanding of e-commerce site architecture and maintenance. (Commerce Cloud experience preferred.)
  • Proficient Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Figma.
  • Ability to manage content using WordPress.
  • Knowledge of website optimization, accessibility, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of commonly used production concepts, practices, and procedures. Aptitude for working with web-based tools.
  • Experience working within design systems and understanding of development processes and procedures.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent problem identification and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
  • Must work well in the face of aggressive deadlines, while maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
  • Knowledge with A/B testing of Ecommerce content and functionality.
  • Experience working with in an international business environment.
  • Ability to produce digital assets for website a plus.
