Do you have integrity, sound judgment, and out-of-the-box thinking? When working through a challenge, are you analytical, thoughtful, and calm? If you value building relationships with credibility and confidentiality, then you'll excel as a Senior HR Communications Manager at Spectrum.

Our Senior HR Communications Manager will apply creative thinking, professional writing skills and functional HR knowledge to implement innovative and effective communication strategies that raise awareness and appreciation as well as increase the understanding of programs and policies. You'll support the leadership in implementing the HR Communications strategy. You'll be responsible for the development and delivery of key messages in support of various HR initiatives and strategy. You will work closely with HR leaders, and act as counsel to align communications needs. Spectrum employees will count on your follow-through and escalation, when necessary, to handle each confidential issue with respect.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Developing and managing effective communications measures and analytics to assess and improve performance
  • Managing planning, developing and implementing numerous HR-related communications
  • Maintaining content, design, access rights and archival processes for SharePoint sites
  • Developing, implementing and driving HR communications strategy
  • Developing, editing, proofreading and reviewing various communication materials for style, understanding and consistency
  • Leading the development of bi-weekly HR Hot Topics newsletter and overseeing HR Specialist on layout and distribution
  • Partnering with HR project teams to assist with the development and implementation of communications strategies

Working Conditions

  • Office environment
  • Travel as required

What You'll Bring to Spectrum

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications or related field or equivalent experience

Experience

  • 7+ years in HR or internal communications related position

Skills

  • Ability to manage vendor partners (specifically, graphic design and printing) to meet project deadlines and stay within project budgets
  • Demonstrated writing skills with focus on attention to detail
  • Social media management experience
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
  • Can analyze and interpret data
  • Able to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
  • Organizational skills related to prioritizing multiple projects and tasks
  • Can maintain confidentiality
