Position Overview:

Quality Engineering Support - Intern

Learning Outcomes:

Root cause investigation and CAPA methodologies, product inspection, fundamental GD&T, and Supplier Corrective Actions (SCAR).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Incoming inspection using various inspection tools, support production QEs in investigating root cause, and support the completion of corrective actions.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Support Quality Control team in inspecting in-process assemblies. Support the screening activity to accept good product to stock. Support the completion of external and internal first article submissions (FAIs).

Requirements:
Sparton interns must meet the following criteria:

• Active pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to work on-site in De Leon Springs, FL

Mentor: Quality Supervisor

Travel Requirement: None
