You will facilitate senior management OU level operations performance reviews and provide guidance to ensure linkage of OU-level reviews with the enterprise level KPIs as well as provide direction to and drive interactions with OU performance management organizations to ensure tracking and reporting on metrics, build out capabilities to conduct root cause analyses, and identify and prioritize corrective actions.

This Senior Advisor position will also identify and support continuous improvement efforts to advance and mature processes to improve the efficiency, quality, and timeliness of goal reporting activities.

Additional responsibilities include facilitation of monthly OU senior leadership performance reviews, participation in twice-monthly Operations Review Forums, including coordination support, and communicating follow up actions to ensure monthly performance explanations are accurate, meaningful, and succinct.

Responsibilities

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that align with the organization\u2019s strategic goals; establish benchmarks and targets to measure and evaluate performance across different areas such as financial, operational, and customer satisfaction and employee productivity.
  • Lead the gathering and reporting of company performance metrics, including financial, operational, and customer metrics (KPIs); provide insights on the impact of changes on performance metrics and help stakeholders adapt to new processes.
  • Oversee the creation of performance reports and dashboards that clearly and concisely present key metrics and trend; share these reports with stakeholders to provide a comprehensive view of the organization\u2019s performance and track progress towards strategic goals.
  • Work with stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives and project; ensure that performance measures are aligned with the organization's strategy.
  • Integrate performance management systems, such as balanced scorecards or OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
  • Identify areas for performance improvement based on data analysis and insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies, initiatives, and process improvements that drive efficiency, productivity, and cost savings.
  • Assess and monitor risks that may impact business performance. Identify potential risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and establish monitoring mechanisms to ensure that risks are effectively managed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including executives, department heads, and operational teams. Facilitate discussions, workshops, and presentations to communicate performance results, share insights, and gain buy-in for performance improvement initiatives.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine performance management processes and methodologies.
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ten or more years of experience preparing or supporting performance data analysis/reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor\u2019s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or other relevant discipline.
  • Business consulting experience in performance management
  • Strong experience interpreting analytical results and using results to facilitate decisions.
  • 7+ years in operational expertise and/or project management
  • Experience leading a cross-functional team.
  • Experience managing and/or leading company performance improvement projects in attainment of company goals for a department, OU, or companywide.
  • Ability to drive and implement change in a change-resistant environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with track record of developing and delivering presentations for Executives.
  • Strong logical thinking and quick learning abilities
  • Knowledge and/or experience with industry wide methods to manage utility performance.
  • Experience analyzing data to determine operational performance and determining corrective actions to address gaps.
  • Familiarity with various technical programs, ranging from visual dashboards to statistical programs.

Additional Information

  • This position\u2019s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. \u202f Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. \u202f Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.\u00a0The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
  • The primary work location for this position is Rosemead (GO1). However, the successful candidate may also be asked to work for an extended amount of time at (alternate work location).
