Become a NextGen ERP Technology Integration PMO lead at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. This is an exciting opportunity to be in an instrumental role to enable the enterprise transformation across SCE in the NextGen ERP Modernization program. Your primary role is to lead the PMO for the NextGen program Technology Integration track in alignment with various SCE and vendor collaborators within Technology Integration, across NextGen ERP program towers, and IT PMO / Architecture/Operations. NextGen ERP is a complex program delivering multiple releases of enterprise and emerging technology products. You need to be able to quickly acclimate to an in-flight fast-paced program with established work tracks and teams and lead the Technology Integration PMO through completion of this multi-million, multi-year program.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing / tracking / reporting / measuring performance / orchestrating of the Technology Integration program track in areas of goals, schedule, financials (includes contracts, work order management, operational planning), staffing, work progression (includes RAID), compliance/conformance to IT project, architecture and operations governance and controls, business case for technology value and costs, regulatory filing and responses to data requests, Technology Governance Board, and management of dependencies internal/external to the program.
  • Demonstrate your program/project implementation experience to effectively manage the work track.
  • Align with the work track Executive and Senior Leadership on priorities and address or support pressing needs.
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on delivering results with quality.
  • Be flexible, adaptable, proactive, reliable and ready to take on PMO associated challenges head-on.
  • Be organized and effectively handle multiple efforts executing in parallel.
  • Creatively maneuver while learning SCE processes and influence to right size processes for what is needed.
  • Leverage your experience to support the program's delivery methodology (SAP Activate / Agile / Waterfall) and apply improvement practices of the chosen methodology to enable success.

A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work hard and shine bright!

  • Maintain an understanding of program goals and integration of work, process and people in the track.
  • Maintain a cadence of work execution and adjust when needed to attend to priorities.
  • Demonstrate your experience on technology delivery methodologies to be effective in the role.
  • Serve as PMO liaison; establish and maintain alignment within the program and IT.
  • Lead status reviews and scrum calls for the overall Technology Integration work track. Be responsible for work track progress through use of tools in the environment that promotes team collaboration.
  • Orchestrate reviews and confirm approvals of technology program contractual outputs per the acceptance criteria.
  • Measure the track's ITD/YTD/monthly financial performance (estimate/forecast/actuals), resource plan performance (approved vs actuals), and explain variances.
  • Lead process-improvement efforts to strengthen collaboration within the track, strengthen partnerships across program tracks and partners.

The essentials

  • Ten (10) or more years of experience in a technical, engineering and/or business - related Project Management role, leading successful implementation of projects against scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Five (5) or more years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master in a Waterfall and/or Agile environment.
  • One or more of the following Scrum Master certifications\: (e.g. CSM, CSPO, CSP, CSD, DASM, SAFe, SSM, PSM, PSPO or equivalent)

The preferred

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical major.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile technologies and tools - Jira/ Rally/ HP ALM Octane/ Confluence/ Aha.
  • Experience and basic understanding of DevOps technologies and tools, e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, etc.
  • Experience leading product/ project teams in Mobile, AI/ML, Robotics Process Automation and/or Salesforce Lighting capabilities.
  • Advanced Scrum Master certifications (ACSM) or equivalent.
  • Product Owner experience / certification (e.g. CSPO) or equivalent.
  • Experience in Software Development.
  • Experience applying Design-thinking principles.

  • This position's work mode is hybrid . The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.\u202f Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California.\u202f Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs
