Become a Customer Solar Interconnection and Billing Specialist\u00a0at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you\u2019ll support the Solar the Solar on Multi-family Affordable Housing (SOMAH) program.\u00a0 You will help communities complete solar projects that provide benefits to tenants at multi-family housing properties. As a\u00a0Customer Solar Interconnection and Billing Specialist, your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. • Advises on action around energy efficiency and demand response programs to optimize energy usage during peak periods
• Analyzes program reports and dashboard to identify conservation targets
• Coordinates program events with leadership and senior individual contributors
• Conducts analysis of energy usage data, load patterns, and grid conditions to identify potential opportunities and optimize program effectiveness
• Supports internal teams, such as grid operations, customer service, and marketing, to ensure seamless integration of programs with overall utility operations and customer engagement efforts
• Reviews compliance and regulatory requirements and guidelines related to programs, including reporting obligations and adherence to program rules and protocols
• Evaluates program cost effectiveness and identifies areas for improvement
• Engages with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, industry associations, and technology providers, to stay informed about industry trends, share best practices, and foster collaboration for the advancement of programs
• Provides administrative support for all program related training
• A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

• Three or more years of experience working with demand response principles, customer programs, or conservation/efficiency initiatives.

• Experience with analytical support for billing operations\u00a0
• Experience with virtual Net Energy Metering Interconnection programs
• Experience working in an electric utility company
• Experience resolving complex customer issues.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with reporting including development of online dashboards (ie. PowerBI)

• This position\u2019s work mode is\u00a0hybrid.\u00a0The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.\u202f Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and\u00a0reside in the state of California.\u202f Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.\u00a0The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
