At Soho Farmhouse Ibiza the Front Office Manager is responsible for ensuring that all our members and guests are greeted wih a warm and friendly welcome.
You will lead the Front of House, Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to ensure the needs of all our guests and employees are met and exceed. You will apply and train your team on our Values of Collaboration, Simplicity, Kindness and Passion everyday at work.
You will manage the operation of the hotel reception, housekeeping and maintenance following our standards procedures.
Main duties ...
- Anticipate guest needs to enhance quality service in order to improve member and guest satisfaction and to train your department to deliver the same.
- Maintain a motivated and high performing team, so that all staff can continually provide service excellence to all guests and members.
- Be an expert in complaint management, by proactively taking charge of any difficult situations in relation to member/guest complaints, ensuring each situation is resolved efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure that daily deadlines of daily responsibilities, such as reports and schedule are met.
- Be commercially aware monitor the site’s performance with occupancy %, ADR and revenue.
- Work closely with the Housekeeping team and Maintenance to ensure all the rooms are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
- Responsible to maintain all the amenities and strong stock control.
- Responsible for the induction and onboarding of all new staff and continual development of existing staff.
- Manage the team following the company process: induction, onboarding, retention, coffee chats and performance review.
- Attend the weekly HOD meeting to discuss best practice, performance & current challenges that need to be addressed and resolved.
- Oversee the night team with their tasks and assisting the general management by ensuring all financial policies and procedures are followed.
- Action feedback and Mystery guest reports.
What is required for the job ...
A successful Front Office Manager for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue leading the Front office, Housekeeping and Maintenance team and a natural flair for first class service. You’ll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.
