The Role…

We are currently a 20 strong team, servicing all the UK sites. The Team is an important function that requires people with vision, the ability to deliver to deadline, embrace change, love great customer service and enjoy working for a dynamic expanding business in the hospitality industry.

Main Duties…

  • Handling credit card refunds and disputing chargebacks
  • Managing the inbox and responding to emails from both internal and external contacts
  • Checking and uploading daily trading report and journals on to SAGE
  • Review and investigation of any unallocated cash
  • Assisting with Invoice processing and reconciling payments when received them
  • Weekly and monthly reconciliation between SAGE and the various operating/EPOS systems
  • Investigating and resolving variances for under/over banking
  • Posting bank transactions to SAGE and weekly reconciliations, allocating receipts and payments to correct nominal.
  • Accurate posting and processing of intercompany charges
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Any other ad hoc duties as requested by the line manager

Requirements

  • Proficient in analysing a substantial volume of transactions
  • Excellent level of competency in credit cards/bank reconciliations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong customer service ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating an ability to adapt to change
  • Takes initiative while retaining collaborative approach to work
  • Great time management skills
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Having worked in the hospitality industry previously
  • Experience of SAGE for Finance
  • Experience working with Opera/Micros/B4T
