Sodexo is seeking a Patient Services Manager 2 for NYC Health + Hospitals/Carter, a 200-bed Long Term Care and 165-bed Nursing Facility located in upper Manhattan, New York, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to lead patient dining services in a mission-driven healthcare environment.

The Patient Services Manager 2 will report directly to the General Manager and be responsible for overseeing a team of approximately 37 union employees. This role will focus heavily on the patient dining experience, providing both restaurant-style and in-room dining options that meet the highest standards of quality and service. Must have flexibility to work varied shifts, including rotating weekends.

What You'll Do

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading daily operations of patient food services to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Managing and mentoring union hourly staff with a focus on engagement and performance
  • Coordinating onboarding, training, and development programs for new and existing team members
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
  • Collaborating with nursing and clinical teams to address patient dietary needs and preferences
  • Supporting the General Manager with strategic initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction
  • Managing scheduling, payroll, and operational budgets as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
