Role Overview
Sodexo Energy and Resource is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to support one of our Oil & Gas clients in El Segundo, CA. The Operations Support Specialist will be responsible for overseeing work order tickets in CMMS for services including, but not limited to Janitorial, Moves, Events, Mailroom, Office Supplies, Landscaping, or other projects as needed. Sodexo Energy & Resource teams deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to diverse locations. From headquarters to offshore rigs, our integrated facilities management, dining and 24/7 hospitality offerings are designed to meet your offshore and onshore service needs.
What You'll Do
- answer phones and oversee the central mailbox
- assign work order tickets in Maximo for multiple services in CMMS
- order and inventory uniforms and supplies
- supervise day-to-day work activities by delegating authority, assigning and prioritizing activities, and monitoring operating standards
- establish a safe work environment for employees by performing safety audits and inspections, conducting safety-related training, and maintaining ongoing communications with employees

What You Bring

- Ability to provide clear directions and respond accordingly
- Ability to use all relevant electronic and communication
- Knowledge of the CMMS systems, preferably Maximo
- Background in administration and customer service
