Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Manager 2 at Grandview C-4 School District located in Grandview, Missouri. This role will oversee all landscaping needs, snow removal, athletic field maintenance, and pest control while leading the grounds team of 4-5 employees.

Grandview C-4 school district serves more than 3,800 diverse students across nine schools in Grandview and parts of South Kansas City, Missouri, enriching the local neighborhoods and the community.

The successful candidate will:

• have a background in horticulture and a clear understanding of all aspects of full-service grounds management;

• have the ability to develop trust and build strong client relationships while meeting the expectation of the client as well as Sodexo;
• show exceptional, multi-tasking, time management, and professional communication skills;
• have a hands-on, innovative leadership approach to management;
• ensure compliance to all safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety regulations and standards.

• strong technical knowledge of landscaping, pest control, snow removal, and grounds management;
• strong experience with athletic fields including turf field experience;
