Sodexo's Campus Segment is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager 5 - Food Service to lead all dining operations at SUNY New Paltz, a vibrant public university in the heart of the Hudson Valley.

What You'll Do
- Oversee daily operations for residential dining, retail outlets, and catering services
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of culinary and service professionals in a unionized environment
- Drive financial success through effective budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and cost controls
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
- Maintain strict compliance with local, state, and federal health regulations
- Partner with campus leadership on student wellness programs, sustainability initiatives, and special events
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement

What You Bring
- Progressive leadership experience in food service or hospitality management
- Strong track record in financial performance (budgeting, food and labor cost control)
- Proven success leading teams in high-volume environments
- Experience managing a union workforce (preferred)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Working knowledge of HACCP and regulatory compliance
- ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
- Culinary degree or hospitality management background preferred
- Prior experience in a higher education or campus dining setting highly desired
- Familiarity with Sodexo systems and standards is a plus
