Role Overview
Sodexo is hiring a Director of Contract Compliance to join our dynamic Supply Management team. This strategic role is pivotal in ensuring vendor alignment with company policies and compliance standards. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, analytical thinker with strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset.
This is a remote position. Candidates may reside anywhere within the United States.
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Exception Management
- Evaluate and process exception requests for existing vendors, including policy deviations and contract compliance issues.
- Assess potential risks and impacts associated with exceptions.
- Maintain thorough documentation of decisions and supporting rationale.
New Vendor Onboarding
- Review and validate new vendor requests to ensure alignment with verified business needs and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Finance, and Category Managers-to secure necessary approvals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between internal departments and external requestors.
- Provide clear guidance on vendor business requirements and exception processes.
- Proactively escalate issues or risks to leadership when appropriate.

What You Bring
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 7 years' experience in contract compliance, strategic analysis or supply management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with vendor management systems such as SAP or Birchstreet is a plus.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 7 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 7 years of experience in contract compliance, operations, strategic analysis, or related field.
