Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a part-time (28 hours/week) Dietitian Nutritionist in Bethlehem, PA. This position will cover the Good Shepherd long-term acute care specialty hospital (LTACH), caring for patients transitioning out of the hospital requiring higher-level care. Nutrition support experience is required. Leadership development can be fostered through involvement in unit audits, performance improvement project development and management, and quarterly data presentation in administrative meetings.
Additional hours are available to support long-term care and acute inpatient units at the Muhlenberg campus. Optional weekend hours are also available.

What You'll Do
- Be a part of the clinical team providing nutrition care to the general adult population, ventilated patients, and nutrition support patients
- Provide education to patients, as well as staff and work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
- Be a leader in Nutrition Committees and professional training of physicians, nurses, and students
- Be an active member of the interdisciplinary team
- Conduct professional nutrition presentations to large groups

What You Bring
- Be a Registered Dietitian with 3 or more years of experience in acute care and/or LTACH.
- Possess the ability to creatively problem solve, work independently with minimal supervision, and make decisions while working within a self-directed and team-oriented work environment
- Have excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups
- Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
