What You'll Do
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Nutrition the ideal candidate will:
- support the outpatient and inpatient cardiothoracic transplant population; primarily lung transplant with cross coverage of heart
- In the absence of this experience, be excited and able to learn these processes
- The ideal candidate will elevate best practices

What You Bring
- Ideally, be well versed in cardiothoracic and transplant populations including critical care and nutrition support
- Be a registered dietitian with at least 2-5 years of experience
- Have a preferred advance degree Masters and/or advanced certification
- Experience in delivering PI/QI initiatives
- The consistent ability to take initiative, be innovative, and passionate about nutrition and elevating our practice
- A self-directed, flexible, team player with excellent time management, verbal, and written communication skills

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
