Role Overview
Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a Chef Manager for its operations at Masonic Care Community, a large continuing care retirement community located in Utica, New York. This community, situated on a beautiful 400-acre campus, is home to more than 500 Residents in a secure country setting.

What You'll Do
- be responsible for purchasing, menu/recipe compliance, inventory, food production forecasting, hands-on cooking;
- supervision of large-scale batch cooking;
- ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
- have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
- ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
- have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

What You Bring
- up to 2 years food service management experience in a skilled nursing or hospital setting;
- the ability to successfully lead, develop and train a team;
- basic culiniary knowledge;
- passion for our residents and customers to ensure our Sodexo CARES (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm and Service) behaviors are followed daily;
- excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.
