We’re looking for a Director, Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) leader to join our Global Security team!

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the EH&S team across multiple offices, globally

  • Be an active member of the Snap Global Security and business partner leadership team

  • Develop organizational-level goals, drive the design of new methods, programs, and procedures to improve the safety conditions in manufacturing, warehouses, labs, or offices

  • Develop relationships with leadership and team members to ensure EH&S policies and procedures are being applied and followed

  • Drive strategic thought on key aspects of the EH&S program, globally

  • Work with corporate development to assess M&A opportunities, proactively enabling business decisions

  • Establish & maintain tools, budgets, reporting, and systems to drive effective & efficient alignment 

  • Develop and deliver EH&S training courses, policies and guidelines

  • Iterate quickly without compromising quality and set the standard on operational excellence

  • Ensure Snap continually remains compliant and informed of industry regulatory changes when it comes to bodies such as OSHA, FDA, Cal- OSHA, HSE standards, etc.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Self-motivated, and comfortable operating with ambiguity in a demanding & fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize duties and workflows

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail

  • Comfortable leading large cross functional initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders

  • Significant experience in Environmental, Health and Safety specifically focused on increasing scope, responsibility and complexity, preferably at a multinational company

  • Ability to achieve organizational goals; understands organization's strengths & weaknesses; analyzes market and competition; identifies external opportunities; adapts strategy to changing conditions

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Must have thorough knowledge of federal and local EH&S regulations, including OSHA and EPA

  • 12+ years of experience in global environmental health and safety program leadership

  • 6+ years of experience managing a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, or engineering discipline. Master’s degree is a plus

  • Professional certification: CSP, CIH, preferred

  • Proven experience directing a team at scale and managing safety compliance with an eye to driving efficiency

  • Previous experience partnering with cross-functional executives and management across a globally distributed organization and exercising sound judgment

  • Track record of delivery in constantly evolving, highly collaborative, multi-site, multi-stakeholder environments

  • Someone who loves to learn, and is passionate about helping others
