We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to join our People Analytics team!

  • What you’ll do:

    • Collaborate with partners to develop new data pipelines and visualizations enabling timely access to high quality data sets

    • Orchestrate ETL Pipelines using Airflow and a combination of BigQuery

    • Create technical documentation for BI tools

    • Create advanced reports and models by combining multiple data sources to help inform business decisions, and strategies

    • Translate business requirements into technical ones

    • Build reporting tools to facilitate consumption consistency across teams

    • Drive measurement excellence across teams

  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Development experience in Tableau

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail

    • Experience in SQL, Python, R or other programming language

    • Experience collaborating with internal and external partners at all levels of a company

    • Demonstrated ability of bringing clarity to analytical projects

    • Ability to prioritize requests from multiple stakeholders in disparate domains

    • Ability to effectively communicate complex projects to non-technical stakeholders

    • Proficient in data cleansing, manipulation, modeling and visualization in BI tools. 

    • Key understanding of data lineage, tool administration, and People data metrics. 

    • Understanding of how data enables key business processes.

  • Minimum Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or related field or equivalent years of experience

    • 3+ years related work experience

    • 3+ year experience in SQL or similar languages

    • 2+ years development experience in at least one object-oriented or scripting language (i.e., Python, Java, Scala, etc)

  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with Tableau Server and Permissions an added advantage

    • Proven years of experience working in analytics or data visualization

    • Tableau Public profile a plus

    • Hands on experience with Google BigQuery

    • Experience with Airflow

    • Python Proficiency preferred

    • Experience in ETL / Data application development

    • Data architecture and warehousing experience
