TECHNICAL WRITER - EL SEGUNDO, CA
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interact cross functionally with engineers, project managers, pilots, and other key stakeholders to architect, create, edit, and publish technical documentation such as operating and maintenance manuals, training materials, and more
- Support documentation alignment with version control software and release systems in order to manage overall documentation quality
- Develop clear and concise documentation to reduce the probability of future error, working with stakeholders to understand user needs
- Gather feedback and consider all relevant data to improve existing and future documentation
- Support in organizing, coordinating, and tracking documentation tasks to align with both team and company-wide goals
- Establish and uphold Skyryse documentation standards

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors of Science degree in Communications, STEM, or other related field
- 8+ years of technical writing experience
- 5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with S1000D technical publication standards
- Master of Science in Communications, STEM, or other
- Experience working at a startup
- Product Launch / Full Lifecycle experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and other authoring tools
- A portfolio of writing samples to review
