Video Editor (Part-Time)

WBFF-TV in Baltimore is seeking a part-time News Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently under tight deadlines while ensuring high-quality video production for our newscasts. Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble video for newscasts using a non-linear editing system, meeting tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with producers and crews to ensure timely and accurate video delivery.
• Communicate effectively to resolve any workflow issues that may impact the broadcast.
• Record video from various local and external sources, and manage live video signal routing.
• A strong interest in news and current events is a plus.
• Experience with non-linear editing systems, particularly Avid, is preferred.

The hourly compensation for this role is $19.97. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Part time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, paid sick leave and employee stock purchase plan.
