WSET ABC 13 in Lynchburg, Virginia has an exciting opportunity for a full-time News Production Assistant!
Responsibilities include:
- Operate Expression, Audio or Camera for our Weekday Evening and Weekend Evening Newscasts.
- Other hours as needed, on occasion.
- Will be scheduled 32.5 hours per work week.
- Prep for newscasts including but not limited to:
- Prepare all fonts to air during newscast
- Studio and set preparation
- Maintaining studio
- Lighting
- Editing for newscasts
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience is not necessary, but education and/or internship in television or related field preferred
- Training will be provided
- Prior experience directing, college or other, is a plus
