As a supplier quality leader, you'll be responsible for end-to-end quality & sustainability relationship with allocated supply base. T his role qualifies suppliers, validates, and releases outsourced finished goods or components and related manufacturing processes in different business configurations (ODM, EMS, JDM...) using Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) methods and has the responsibility to veto if necessary.

What you'll do
- Defines, implements, and continuously improves supplier quality, sustainability and supplier development processes and strategy.
- Engages suppliers in the Signify's Sustainability Programs such as Hazard Substance Compliancy, Carbon Disclosure, SSD and Conflict Minerals and responsible for their continuous compliance
- Sets supplier quality requirements to suppliers and products.
- Leads and decides on qualification of suppliers based on their competences and competitiveness during qualification audits.
- Drives early supplier engagement in the NPDL process, leads, validates and (dis)approves release of components, assemblies and processes at suppliers according to the respective supplier AQP process and assures the quality and in time delivering of the related PPAP documents.
- Controls and (dis)approves changes of products and processes at suppliers using industry standard practices.
- Drives Proactive and Preventive Supplier Quality initiatives for robust Product and process quality.
- Is able to effectively manage risks with a differentiated approach.
- Is able to apply the respective AQP project and release methodology with the supplier in full collaboration with the project team.
- Can train SQ and AQP tools to suppliers.
- Is able to determine supplier technical capabilities based on this knowledge and effectively apply knowledge to resolve customer and production issues.
- Has strong leadership and communicative skill.
- Has proven record working in international businesses applying AQP / APQP
