Social Media Manager

We're looking for a full-time Social Media Manager to join our Global Brand, Communications and Marketing team in Amsterdam.

As Social Media Manager, you will play a key role in supporting Signify's strategy and building its corporate brand, with responsibility for identifying and sharing compelling stories about Signify and its global businesses with a broad range of stakeholders. In close collaboration with the Head of External Communications, you have a leading role to play in our communications strategy, planning, developing, and editing content for our corporate social media channels. You will work with functional and business leaders from across the organization, as well as a global network of communications professionals at Signify to source and share content as well as provide guidance and governance for content creators across the business and supporting individual employees through our employee sharing program.

What you'll do
  • Develop and own the strategy, content plan and execution for Signify global social media channels.
  • Create, edit, and publish content for Signify corporate channels, including, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram that showcases the best of the Signify brand, its offerings and experiences.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partner agencies to plan and develop content with a clear purpose to achieve our strategic objectives.
  • Conduct social listening to gain insights into how stakeholders are discussing our brand, providing feedback to internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct audience analyses to develop insights into who our social followers are how we can better engage with them.
  • Define social channel fit with target audiences and tune communications accordingly.
  • Work with marketing operations to deliver content creation guidelines and governance that ensures consistent quality content across all global channels.
  • Partner with internal communications to boost Signify content via the employee sharing program
Your qualifications
  • More than five years' experience in Social Media, ideally with both in-house and agency experience.
  • You think customer-first and understand different audiences from corporate to consumer.
  • You are confident in developing a differentiated multi-channel social strategy. You have experience developing simple and effective communications guidelines and governance. Y
  • You enjoy engaging with a broad range of stakeholders from senior executives to researchers and sustainability professionals. And you can cut through lengthy content to find the details that matter.
  • Passion, experience and deep understanding of social media channels, strategy, and market trends, ideally with in-house and agency experience.
  • In-depth platform knowledge of LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, & YouTube strategy, trends. Good knowledge of broader social media environment, including TikTok, WeChat.
  • Experience working with social analytics tools such as Sprinklr.
  • Excellent English writing, editing and proof-reading skills.
  • Competent in creating and editing visual as well as written content. Photoshop, InDesign, and video editing experience is an advantage.
  • Responsible and adaptable to organizational and market changes.
