Baseline Program Requirements:
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at an accredited university
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company
- Able to work in a fully remote environment on a part time basis (at least 20-25 hours per week) between August 25-December 5
- A minimum 3.0 GPA

Position Overview:
At Siemens Digital Industries Software, you will join a globally distributed team that's leading the future of marketing to our Energy and Utilities customers. We believe in people-first marketing and people-first work! We are seeking a motivated Demand Generation Marketing Intern to execute marketing at scale targeting audiences with both local and global impact. To be successful in this role, you should have experience in demand generation marketing in the Energy and Utilities market. You will have the opportunity to, and be tasked with, working with regional teams around the globe, so international marketing experience is helpful. Together, we will continually review performance and results to ensure targets and goals are exceeded. Your ability to execute and promote clear communications will help businesses find, adopt, and expand their use of our rapidly growing Xcelerator portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align monthly with the Energy and Utilities sales team to ensure Marketing and Sales are working toward the same goals; maintain continuous collaborative communication with Sales leadership in the Energy and Utilities industry.
- Drive the Energy and Utilities marketing plan to support strategic goals and meet/exceed pipeline and revenue targets.
- Team with the Energy and Utilities global industry planner to understand investment/priorities and select and prioritize program activities.
- Leverage data analytics to determine which tactics are working and which are not, and to optimize performance based on results.
- Define and implement creative marketing tactics to fill gaps left between what the zone business requires and what the global planners' marketing plans support.
- Collaborate with execution team to optimally deploy, execute, and optimize the annual and quarterly program plans to realize the team's goals.
- Ensure accuracy of program forecasts and analyze campaign performance across the demand waterfall including pipeline volume and progression.
- Communicate with and educate cross-functional teams about new and planned marketing activities, including global and local programs.
- Look for ways to continuously improve the team's performance.
Requirements:
This position requires an individual who has both marketing and sales knowledge with analytical and execution skills. Market knowledge and enthusiasm to communicate our vision paramount. Proven marketing experience in the B2B software industry is preferred. The ability to look beyond what has always been done to seek alternatives is a must.
- Undergraduate Degree in Marketing.
- Understand the B2B sales cycle and look for opportunities to improve demand generation, pipeline contribution and sales opportunity acceleration.
- Ability to market to a range of B2B buying groups using a wide variety of offers and delivery mechanisms.
- Fluent in demand generation performance management in a B2B environment, including the demand waterfall.
- Ability to align tactical plans with strategies, consistently producing results on time and within budget.
- Ability to use project management tools provided to keep projects on schedule.
- Extensive Inbound Content Marketing strategy/execution experience.
- Motivated, inquisitive, and persistent.
- Readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements.
- Highly collaborative and focused on business and customer impact.
- Fluent in English and highly effective in communicating across all mediums; Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
- Proven marketing experience in the B2B software industry, specific domain experience is preferred.
This is an individual contributor job and is responsible for all marketing activities. May include responsibilities in several areas of marketing including project management, market research, advertising and public relations, marketing communications or business partners. Will work with senior level managers and/or executives to identify, develop, and implement effective and productive marketing strategies and plans. Must operates with minimal supervision.
The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location, as well as degree type and relevant education.
