Duties: Design, develop, modify, and implement softwareprogramming for products (both internal and external) with focus on surpassingcustomer expectations, on achieving high quality and on-time delivery. Ensuringoverall functional quality of the released product on required platforms andmechanism. Understand complex products, solutions, and problems. Create,document, and execute software designs which may involve significantre-architecture of important systems, define and coordinate implementation ofwide-reaching impacts. Acts as Technical lead of projects that span multipleareas of a product. Broad and direct consulting with customers in regard tofuture upgrades and products. Set technical direction for one area of aproduct. Promotes innovation through the ability to introduce newtechnology/knowledge into multiple areas of a product and to our people. Solvecomplex technical problems. Technical Lead in guiding junior engineers. Workswithout supervision on the most complex projects with complete latitude forindependent judgment and technical expertise. Advanced knowledge of the field.Assist with less experienced peers.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree, or foreignequivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering or relatedfield and 60 months of experience in the job offered of SoftwareEngineer-related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor'sdegree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CivilEngineering, or a related engineering field, and 84 months of experience in thejob offered of Software Engineer-related occupation. Position requires (5 yearswith Master's Degree or 7 years with Bachelor's Degree) experience in thefollowing:

  • Designing and implementing software systems
  • Software development and architecture usingdata structures, algorithms, design patterns, and data modeling;
  • Object-oriented design and coding (C/C++ orJava / C# on a UNIX or Linux/Windows Platform);
  • Designing and developing server applicationsin PLM area or large enterprise area;
  • Designing and implementing TDD and automatedtesting;
  • Analyzing and debugging software issues;
  • Developing Rich Client and Thin-Clientapplications (Web technologies including Angular JS, React, JAVA script or,HTML5);
  • Visual Studio (C++), Eclipse, xUnit framework;
  • Source code management tools clearcase orperforce;
  • Enterprise Agile and Scrum development practices.
