We're searching for a manager to lead a team of education focused marketing in support of our go-to-market strategy at Siemens Digital Industries Software.

Bringing your experience with the buyer's journey, engagement strategies, and execution, you'll immediately make an impact through a positive relationship with your peers, immediate team and a large organization of B2B marketing professionals.

You will lead a team that thinks customer-first when building digital experiences (whitepapers, sales tools, campaign briefs, messaging guides, emails, blogs, landing pages, etc.), advertising, search-optimized content, account-based marketing, social media marketing and more. You will advocate for and encourage the team to test, optimize and try new tactics as well as deliver new types of content while striving to exceed our education marketing team KPI's.

You will be responsible for continual review of campaign, content performance and results to meet or exceed team targets. You will advocate for cross-functional and cross-departmental collaboration to produce clear and valuable communications to help customers of all sizes, across multiple industries engage and learn more about Siemens Digital Industries Software. While most of your team is US-based, you will work with regional teams and partners around the globe, so international marketing experience is helpful.

You have experience and can supplement the work of your team in our organic account activation efforts across content marketing, email nurturing, account-based marketing (ABM), social marketing, search marketing, creative deliverables (video, graphics, collateral) and more. You are familiar with nurture-based marketing and ABM and possess the analytical skills to help optimize campaigns based on testing and ongoing results. You will manage a team that works with an entrepreneurial approach and can both independently and collaboratively conceptualize campaign improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a remote team of industry marketing campaign creators, writers, and other marketing strategy and execution progress
  • Collaborate horizontally with other team managers and with other departments to build and meet/exceed KPIs
  • Support the creation of stand-out differentiated digital media campaigns that support prioritized industry and solution-based demand generation objectives.
  • Contribute to content strategies that support and amplify short- and long-term marketing goals.
  • In partnership with our education focused strategy and solution leaders, to act as both an internal and external face/voice of key programs, topics and imperatives around higher education and how Siemens can help
  • Stay on top of marketing trends and create new ideas to explore and test as a team
  • Lead career management (development plans, training, promotion, short- & long-term career perspectives)
  • Take ownership of people's development including team culture, engagement, development, and retention
  • Motivate team members
  • Coordinate activities for team members and projects
  • Manage and plan workload, monitor team utilization
  • Monitor team performance
  • Resource management, taking active part in the recruitment process
  • Participate in process development, internal projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications or related field,
    Advanced degree such as an MBA preferred
  • The right person has 5+ years of successful experience across B2B digital and content marketing
  • Ideal candidates will have experience in marketing to Higher Education institutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work optimally across internal and external organizations.
  • Possess outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and research skills
  • Experience leading or managing a team preferred.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  • Normal office environment or working remotely
  • Minimal travel required (less than 15%)

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday

The salary range for this position is $120,800 to$217,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actualcompensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location aswell as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, andrelevant education/training.
