What you'll be doing

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Java Developer Intern to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java programming and a keen interest in learning and working with AWS technologies. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting and work on real-world projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain Java applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of code quality.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.
  • Engage in problem-solving and critical thinking to overcome technical challenges.

Required Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Java 17/21.
  • Experience with Spring Boot 3.
  • Basic understanding of SQL (Postgres).

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with AWS DynamoDB.
  • Knowledge of Python.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.

SSP Poland 2025, conditions & eligibility

Siemens Strategic Student Program (SSP) in Poland for a Summer Internship from summer 2025. You may also have the opportunity to write your bachelor's or master's thesis in cooperation with Siemens EDA.

Internships are paid - both during the summer and the extended periods.

Eligibility

• You must be currently enrolled or a recent graduate.

• International students must have a valid visa and/or work permit. Please note that Siemens does not provide support for visa or permit processes.
