Application Engineer Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

• Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

• Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Internal and external contacts often pertain to company plans and objectives.

• Has advanced-level product knowledge for a wide-range of products or flows.

• Uses advanced technical and business skills to drive EDA's product into customer projects and to recognize and uncover new business opportunities.

• Typically interacts with senior-level personnel at customer sites and determines methods and procedures to drive business into the assigned account. May provide guidance to other personnel.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years' experience in industry verification tools, hardware/software design/testbench development.

• Expertise in RTL synthesis, C/C++ and processes (simulation and timing-based aspects of hardware: race conditions, synchronization) and pre-silicon and post-silicon verification methodologies, and lab equipment (scopes, logic analyzers) are required.

• Proficiency in Verilog, System Verilog and software verification language is required. Simulator experience in Questa/Modelsim, VCS or NCVerilog is must.

• Strong trouble shooting skills, ability to break a complex problem into its simple components is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills and program management skills are needed. UNIX/Linux OS experience is required.

• Minimum: Bachelor of Engineering in EE or CS. A master's degree is a plus.
