Director, Product Platform

Remote

About the opportunity:

At the heart of the product culture at Shutterstock, we are creatives that take pride in serving creatives. We believe in a collaborative, cross-functional working style where departments bring their diverse experiences and expertise together to uniquely understand our customers' needs. This nuanced understanding is foundational to our ability to develop innovative solutions to longstanding problems.

We're committed to data, experimenting, taking big swings, and ruthless prioritization to build experiences that surprise and delight our customers, and have a materially positive impact on our business.

What we need:

Shutterstock is on an amazing journey to pursue our vision beyond that of stock photography, video, and audio. We are building an intelligent, creative platform where our customers ideate, publish, distribute and measure the performance of their creative supported by bleeding edge technology and AI capabilities. As we look to transform our business, we need help to dream up and build out a really flexible platform that can continue to cater to our current business, while also being flexible to support our new areas of growth. This requires a Product Director to take the lead on understanding who our customers are, both internal and external, what their needs are and how we need to enable and develop new products and capabilities to enable Shutterstock to continue to grow. This person should be a proven leader who can manage expectations, dependencies and timelines across multiple teams, and ensure a smooth roll out of delightful end-to-end user experiences, all while actively mentoring a team of product managers
