What will you do?

The Sr. Services Project Planner from the GCP Ops Site Works department is responsible for calculating the site resources and preparing the site resources to be used by the site installation and commissioning teams. To do this, they use the documents available in the technical library, i.e., the required drawings and documents supplied by the design office. They also rely on the skills and instructions of the Site Works Test Manager.

Experienced professional in planning and coordinating field testing activities, focusing on pre-commissioning and commissioning of electrical substations. Acts proactively in organizing, controlling, and monitoring schedules, ensuring efficient and safe execution of services. Possesses a solid technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and fluency in English and Spanish, facilitating interaction with multinational teams and international clients.

- Prepare a provisional schedule, a provisional site organization chart, and provisional budget for site activities.

- Prepare an estimate of the time required for installation and testing and of the corresponding resources required by local FSR or subcontractors.

- Prepare a list of site risks and contribute to the risk analysis meeting.

- Define, prepare, and deliver on site in due time all needed tools for installation & commissioning activities.

- Responsible for the proper follow-up of these tools, as per Site Works Dept procedure.

Ensure compliance of resources with country of destination rules:

- Select and book resources, as per skills required on site, with local SE entity and/or external providers. Send notification of works to external resource provider.

- Ensure that the reports and forms (Nonconformances, etc.) and the contractual documents are produced and issued by the site manager or site works coordinator or commissioning supervisor, as well as the elements marking out any claims made by customers or subcontractors.

- Inform the Project Manager in the event of any disparity in the budget and schedule.

- Take part in coordination meetings (technical, logistics, etc.) between the Technical Leader and the site.

- Analyze the installation and test times to update the calculation tool to provide final breakdown cost to Project Manager.

- Contribute to REX / lessons learned session.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Control and Automation Engineering or related fields or Senior Technician in Electrical Engineering.

• Complementary courses in commissioning, planning, or project management are a plus.

• Five (5) years of experience in on-site electromechanical testing.

• Knowledge of MV/LV equipment, Data Center Applications, Electrical networks.

• Standard office software: Word, Excel, MS Project, SAP.

• Planning and control of electrical field testing services.

• Preparation and monitoring of schedules (MS Project, Excel, etc.).

• Clear and effective communication with different hierarchical levels and multidisciplinary field teams.

• Interface with suppliers, clients, and engineering teams.

• Resource, deadline, and priority management.

• Flexibility to work in different locations.
