This position is for a Singapore Accounting Leader in Singapore, responsible for m anaging the Accounting and Tax matters of all Schneider Electric Singapore entities

What will you do?
  • Accountable for statutory and Group Actual reported books (P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow etc) prepared by Competency Centers (CoCe) and local teams, ensuring compliance with both local and Group requirements
  • Lead the Country Accounting Organization, support by CoCe, including distribution Hub
  • Optimize the set-up and quality of accounting processes and tools/technology enablers, in line with Group guidelines and internal control requirements (including various projects)
  • Strong hands-on leader who can lead by example
  • Lead in Accounting transformation projects and experience in change management
  • Propose financial technical advice and support for the business needs
  • Experienced in process improvement
  • Collaborate within Finance Community to support the overall function goals
  • Manage Tax Accounting and filings, in coordination with Tax teams
  • Manage the relation with external and Zone level stakeholders (including auditors)

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Undergraduate Degree or Above in Finance, Accounting or related
  • CPA or IFRS degree (certificates)
  • At least 11 - 15 years professional experience with 5 - 8 years' experience in MNC and external audit.
  • Experience in compliance and internal controls
  • Technical knowledge of IFRS and country accounting and tax regulations
  • Process oriented and digital mindset
  • Good cross-functional communication skill
  • Capacity to understand both local and global pictures from statutory perspective
  • Ability to manage highly complex organizational structures
