Job Title: Senior Technical Engineer - EMCS Customer Projects 7-8 years of experience About the Position:
We are excited to offer a Senior Technical Engineering role in Digital Power, focusing on the Oil & Gas, Electro Intensive, Energies, Power & Grid, Micro-Grid, and Transport sectors. This position is based in Gurgaon, India, within our Regional Execution Platform, where we collaborate closely with major industry leaders. You will have the chance to interact with various internal and external business leaders, including key customers in these segments.
Your Mission:
You will be responsible for providing technical solutions, driving innovation, and planning execution strategies. You will lead the EMCS Automation Engineers and manage automation activities for complex projects. You will foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging members to take risks and pursue technical excellence. Additionally, you will play a critical role in developing our product offerings, exploring new solution options, and collaborating with the Line of Business and R&D teams. Supporting the Project Manager and Tendering team with technical insights during project execution and bidding processes is also part of your responsibilities. You will assist both internal and external customers, as well as sales representatives, with technical inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop your skills and those of your team through new technologies, solutions, and activities.
- Analyze and identify risks and opportunities related to project specifications during the bidding/tendering stage.
- Ensure compliance with project objectives, timelines, and schedules.
- Plan team activities based on workload and solution complexity, while identifying required competencies.
- Collaborate with your line manager and other project stakeholders to create a positive and engaging work environment.
- Maintain technical quality and service levels for engineering documents (such as network architecture, technical descriptions, BOM, etc.).
- Act as a coordinator for complex projects, ensuring targets for deliverables, quality, and efficiency are met.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental procedures, actively participating in their development to meet service needs.
- Drive continuous improvement by setting productivity targets and implementing related actions. Lead subcontractors (when applicable), ensuring proper competence, assessment, and relationship management.
- Engage in ongoing improvement of engineering competency and capacity for both you and your team to meet project execution requirements. Support the line of business in developing and deploying new products and innovations.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's or master's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Science, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- 7-8 years of experience in energy automation project execution, team leadership, and customer management.
- Knowledge about Phyton
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the industry.
- Versatile customer experience is a plus.
- Leadership , interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Excellent soft skills and communication abilities.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
