We are looking for a Senior Hardware / Electronics Enginee r who will be part of a multi-functional design environment, work with cutting-edge technologies, and collaborate with top engineers globally to digitalize and become a part of the ecosystems to help our customers.

Development

  • Analyze and validate customers' requirements.

  • Design and develop electronic circuits.
  • Collaborate in construction.
  • Optimize PCBs.
  • Verify and document your work.
  • Share development work with colleagues.
  • Ensure reusability, interoperability, maintainability, and timely delivery.
  • Conduct design analysis.
  • Perform function tests on prototypes, including HW verification and SW support.
  • Support verification & validation in cooperation with TestLab ( ESD, EMC, Safety tests , ...) .
  • Assist in certification processes.
  • Collaborate on new projects and innovations.
  • Provide risk assessments.
  • Consider architecture, concept, and technology limits.
  • Identify ways to circumvent patent restrictions and develop alternative solutions.
  • Search for reusable solutions and platforming.
  • Present work in an appropriate form .


Cooperation
  • Work within both local and international project teams.
  • Maintain communication channels with customers' project leaders, respecting departmental and entity interests.
  • Plan and present technical training/lectures.


Industrialization
  • Respect the technological environment in production.
  • Develop test requirements for production.
  • Check samples from production.


Documentation
  • Create documentation according to Schneider Electric processes.
  • Handle data in line with company rules.


Tools
  • Use development tools as per Schneider Electric requirements for schematic, PCB, component selection , component sizing dashboard, design lifecycle, etc.
  • Utilize project/squad cooperation and documentation tools (JIRA, Confluence, Miro, etc.).
  • Employ office software tools (MS365, Outlook, etc.).


REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar field.
  • Relevant master's degree preferred.
  • Experience with design/schematic & PCBA & tests of devices at the component level.
  • Experience with EMC, ESD, Safety tests.
  • Experience in working on Low Voltage Electronics devices (0-1000V AC and 1500V DC ).
  • Preferred experience in home automation, energy management, and energy measurement projects.
  • Basic firmware knowledge and experience (C programming language, microcontrollers).
  • Beneficial experience in other industries (automotive, medical, industrial automation, etc. - at the component level).
  • Proficiency in Cadence, Eagle.
  • Driver's license.

  • Willingness and openness to travel to Europe and meet your team in the Czech Republic every 2 months.
  • Readiness to conduct fieldwork occasionally.
  • Strong communication skills , transparency, and independence.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
