The Opportunity
Due to an internal promotion, our growing Power and Grid team are seeking an experienced Segment Manager.As a seasoned senior sales professional, you will get the opportunity to utilise your proven experience to play a leadership role within a section of our business that is experiencing an exciting time of sustained growth within a market that is full of opportunity.
Joining a truly global organisation, you will lead a small team of technical sales professionals and support a growing customer base that is calling for our expertise. With the opportunity to enjoy flexible hybrid working arrangements, this is a key role that will see you play a senior role as you make an Impact as part of the team at Schneider Electric.
This exciting new career opportunity will see you:
- Playing a key Sales Leadership role as you lead a small team and continue to develop this strategic segment across Australia and New Zealand
- Growing the Power and Grid business and focus on expanding array of offerings that also includes a variety of digital solutions
- Developing and successfully executing Annual Sales and Marketing Plans as you take a strategic view to the deployment of strategies that support growth
- Collaborating with varied stakeholders to achieve business objectives
- Focusing on industry trends and developments as you utilise data to shape strategy
- Domestic and International travel when required
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications coupled with proven experience in a similar senior Sales / BD role, ideally within adjacent markets
- Previous experience leading others while leveraging a depth of technical knowledge to achieve business objectives
- Proven consultative style and success selling to a diverse range of Customers and a demonstrated
- Proven ability to collaborate with varied stakeholder groups
- Intermediate IT skills, proficient in relevant CRM tools (Salesforce) and other digital platforms
- Those with additional Postgraduate qualifications will be viewed favourably, as will those with relevant industry experience
