Description of the Position

Are you passionate about troubleshooting and repairing high-end power meter products? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where continuous improvement is encouraged? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Repair Technician at Schneider Electric!

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, repair, and rework high-end power meter products, including customer returns and new production devices.
  • Troubleshoot electronics products, specifically high-end power meters, and effectively document identified issues.
  • Provide suggestions for product and process improvements to enhance overall performance.
  • Manage workload and prioritize tasks to meet repair timelines.
  • Collaborate with the Manufacturing and Engineering teams, proposing and implementing solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Work as liaison between different business units and manage manufacturing product changes

Requirements:
  • Possess a positive 'safe first' attitude, prioritizing safety in all aspects of work.
  • Hold a post-secondary electrical/electronic certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, manuals, and other reference materials.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuits.
  • Ability to set up and operate test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
  • Experience with soldering, including SMT and through-hole techniques.
  • Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft package.

The compensation range for this full-time position, which includes base pay and Performance Award, is CAD $28.00 - $32.00 for candidates who are B.C. residents. Our salary ranges are determined by including roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
