Quality Technician

  • Respond to customer complaints and requests using the BFO Salesforce system (CR - Complaint/Request).
  • This individual is responsible for varied tasks related to claims processing
  • Conducting investigations on OS&D claims
  • Building claims packets by pulling documentation from warehouse systems and carrier websites
  • Process transportation claims
  • Responding to inquiries from project managers, sales, customer service (CCC) and supply chain teams
  • Create nonconformances related to customer complaints
  • Updating Excel spreadsheets with data
  • Filing /Reporting


Qualifications and Skills required:

  • Decision-making skills and the ability to independently work on claim resolutions
  • Ability to communicate with empathy in a straightforward manner
  • Must have skills: multitasking, agile, critical thinking, conflict resolution
  • Thrive in a fast paced, dynamic, and diverse environment
  • High desire to meet and exceed our customers' expectations - exceptional customer service skills
  • Must have PC operating experience - experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, Oracle, Manhattan, BFO, and SAP strongly preferred.
  • Have at least 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with both management, customers, customer service (CCC) and our associates (vendor and carriers)
