About the Role: As part of the Global MicroGrid Line of Business and the Europe & International Commercial teams of Digital Energy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy. Directly reporting to the Microgrid Competency Center for Europe, & International, you will be providing cutting-edge Ecostruxure Microgrid solutions to customers. Your responsibilities will include advising on architecture and use cases, support country preparing large technical and commercial offers, and supporting partners' sales enablement with small and medium microgrid solutions.

Your main responsibilities are the following
1. Animate the tender manager & engineer community located in several country across the regions (Tendering documentation sharepoint, cadence meeting, opportunity support, ...)
2. Communicates with country sales team, customer and consultant to determine project requirements.
3. Identify the best Microgrid Solution and advise customer on architecture and use cases.
4. In collaboration with local FO, provide microgrid quotations on time and ensure best in class microgrid offer (technical, & commercial)
5. Make the most of the standard solutions available and assess the feasibility of applying our Engineering to Order offer to the most complex customer requirement.
6. Support peer review of the FO proposal (S2) whenever required to support the management approval
7. For each project won, initiate kick-off meeting and hand over to execution team.
Qualifications
Required:
- Passionate about energy transition, decarbonization and technology.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent knowledge or experience.
- At least 3+ years in technical pre-sales, tendering and/or solution design.
- Background in automation such as EPAS, Machine Expert, ...
- Background in electrical distribution (LV / MV)
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent English: speaking, writing, and reading
- Ability to connect and collaborate with all stakeholders within the organization, in several countries
- Ability to be customer facing with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a group setting, team oriented and results driven.
- Distill complex inputs & analysis into simple, clear interpretation of results
- Motivated, Dynamic personality with ability to succeed within stressful timeline
Desired:
- Knowledge about Ecostruxure Microgrid Operation and Ecostruxure Microgrid Advisor
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge and/or experience with Microgrid (Use Cases, Architecture)
- Understanding of electric utility markets, utilities, rates, incentives
- Energy Modelling (solar PV, BESS)
- Master different aspect of the tendering: Technical & Commercial write-up, purchasing, Contractual, Risks management, commercial environment, cash flow etc
