Position Title: Manager - ETS (Tool Design)

Educational Qualification: Diploma (Engineering)

Specialization : Mechanical / NTTF

Experience Range (Min-Max): 5 to 10 years.

Critical Skills Required: Press Tool design, Ansys

Location : Mahape, Navi Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

• Tool Design of press tools (stage and progressive tools) for electrical, automotive applications

• Collaborate with R&D, NPI/LCM, customers for feasbility studies and part refinement

• Develop tooling concepts, strips layouts, tool sequencing, operation sequencing

• Perform tool design calculations and develop designs and drafting in 3D CAD

• Apply CAE to validate tool element reliability

• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure tool designs are feasible and cost-effective

Functional Competencies:

• Proven experience as a Press Tool Designer - cutting and forming operations - stage and progressive tooling

• Proficiency in CREO and CAE software for Press Tools

• Knowledge of high-speed tooling and in die assembly will be added advantage

• In-depth knowledge of presses, press part production processes and ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
