Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce DevOps Engineer with 5-8 years of experience, specializing in Copado. The ideal candidate will manage code deployments from development to production environments, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen drive for innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead change management with Salesforce and Copado, with 5-8 years of hands-on experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of current, hands-on experience with Copado; past experience alone is not sufficient.
  • Manage code deployments from lower (Dev) to higher (Prod) environments.
  • Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with Copado deployment and Salesforce deployment processes.
  • Proficient with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Salesforce CLI, GIT, and ADO boards.
  • Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automations using Copado.
  • Handle Salesforce and Copado support requests to resolve issues.
  • Lead production support calls and incidents, providing guidance on analyzing production problems.
  • Resolve code deployment and merge conflicts, integrate Azure with Copado, and ensure synchronization.
  • Coordinate with Development and QA teams for timely delivery of features, bug fixes, and improvements.
  • Drive improvements in DevOps processes and provide expert guidance.
  • Ensure release readiness, backup readiness, and conduct back-out planning and testing activities.
  • Continuously improve quality, risk, and compliance, collaborating with other teams to support the delivery lifecycle.
  • Automate environment builds (Dev, SIT, UAT, Prod) and maintain all environments.
  • Perform refresh activities for Salesforce sandboxes.
  • Conduct back promotion activities to ensure all Salesforce orgs are in sync and maintain pipelines.
  • Maintain environments, including snapshot creation and adding new sandboxes to pipelines.
  • Oversee and troubleshoot end-to-end release processes, identifying and addressing blockers to ensure smooth deployments.
  • Create comprehensive deployment reports post-release to meet audit and compliance expectations.
  • Provide timely, expert-level support and escalation management for Copado issues.
  • Work collaboratively across diverse teams and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
  • Salesforce Admin & Developer certifications are a must.
  • Copado I and II certifications are a must.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata, source control systems (such as Git), and branching strategies.
  • Proficient in Copado setup, configuration, and deployment automation.
  • Deep experience managing DevOps pipelines using Copado across multiple orgs and instances of Salesforce.
  • Experience setting up Copado from scratch.
  • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
