Flow Controller

We are currently seeking a self-driven Flow Controller with a passion for procurement to join our team. This position will oversee the upstream planning for a Contract Manufacturer, escalate material shortages, supervise the ERP parameters of purchased parts and follow-up on "line down" situations. The role will work jointly with the NAM Supply Chain Team and Contract Manufacturer Supply Chain team. This position will report to the Supply Chain Manager for Contract Manufacturing Operations. It will be based in the MDIC, within the Mty Campus.

What will you do:

  • Supervise the Upstream Planning of the External Manufacturer.
  • Escalate material shortages with vendors
  • Escalate material shortages within Procurement organization using the escalation path.
  • Audit Contract Manufacturer ERP parameters and request actions for gaps.
  • Evaluate the Value Stream Map and provide suggestions.
  • Change transportation method when needed.
  • Participate on SAM audits animated by Virtual Factory Team.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English (written and business speaking).
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience on Supply Chain roles.
  • Proven experience using SAP Material Management modules.
  • Proficiency on excel use.
  • Self-initiative and proven experience on following up on multiple topics with attention to details.
  • Strong influencing skills and team work.
