IMPACT starts with us: As a Customer Project Buyer (f/m/d), you will focus on ensuring supply chain resiliency and business continuity for customer-specific projects. You will manage strategic procurement actions, support tendering competitiveness, and drive execution excellence. This role is designed as a development path toward a leadership role in Customer Project Process, ideal for candidates with EPC experience and leadership ambition. Sounds interesting? When and where? Starting immediately in Regensburg
Vacation: 30 days per year
Weekly working hours: 35 hours (5-day week) in accordance with the IG Metall collective agreement
Your IMPACT:
- Define Procurement Strategy for each Customer project as outlined in the Customer Project Process (CPP)
- Execute project negotiations (incl. digital awarding by e-auction), identify alternative sources and re-design actions to optimize project material costs by considering project lead times and available supplier capacities
- Define and execute actions on Supply Chain Resiliency and Business Continuity for customer projects (e.g. multisourcing, logistic agreements, supplier risk management, tailored terms & conditions).
- Support Sales and Project Management to improve competitiveness during tendering phase to win customer projects (quote to win to increase hitrate)
- Ensure the involvement of the procurement function & the introduction of supplier strategies as early as possible in the project stage
- Take full responsibility for identified alternatives at tendering and execution stage and report the productivity associated to the corresponding actions
- Drive project-specific sourcing strategies and contribute to CPP Procurement Roadmap execution including coordination with other Customer Project Buyers and CPP Leader
- Engage in CPP workshops and Quality Value Engineering initiatives to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support mega project execution and transformation goals

Your Profile:
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related field with a focus on Procurement or Supply Chain
- Several years of experience in Strategic Procurement or Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC)
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication & problem solving skills
- Ability to navigate complex organizations, influence stakeholders, and drive change
- High level of customer focus, resilience and ownership
- Fluent in English; German skills are a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
