About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Area Sales Representative to join our team in Central Queensland, based in either Rockhampton or Gladstone.

In this field-based role, you'll manage a well-established territory with existing accounts across wholesalers, contractors, and residential builders - with plenty of opportunity to grow. You'll be the face of Clipsal in the region, supported by a national team and backed by a brand that's trusted across the industry.
About the Team
You'll be part of a nationally connected H&D sales team with a strong presence in every state - from metro hubs to regional communities.
Our team is supported by a powerful ecosystem of sales support, marketing, commercial, R&D, and technical experts across Australia, as well as regional and global teams. You'll never feel like you're on your own - even when you're working independently in the field.
What Will You Do?
- Manage and grow a defined territory across Rockhampton, Gladstone, and surrounding areas
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with electrical wholesalers, contractors, and residential builders
- Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term customers
- Deliver product demonstrations and training sessions to customers and partners
- Use digital tools and CRM systems to track activity, manage your pipeline, and report on performance
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and resolve customer issues
- Stay informed on local market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming residential projects
- Represent the Clipsal brand at trade events, customer days, and industry functions
- Travel regionally a few days each month to maintain visibility and support across your territory
- Experience in Sales or Account Management, ideally in a trade supplies, redidential building products, or technical environment... but if not, we can teach you.
- A growth mindset and learning agility - you're curious, adaptable, and quick to pick up new concepts.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - you're confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and stay self-motivated.
- A full driver's licence and willingness to travel regionally.
