The Senior Quality Assurance Consultant is a key position within the Quality Assurance team working in the Professional Services division at Salesforce. They work collaboratively with various project teams across multiple customer implementations. This role works under minimal supervision, relying on experience and judgment to ensure the appropriate level of quality is incorporated into our customer implementations. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency with a highly collaborative approach, exhibiting excellent problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating Test artifacts including Test Strategy, Test Execution Status Reports, and Defect Reports.
Works closely with internal and customer teams to understand business requirements, coordinate testing activities, and communicate test results.
Lead test team in translating business requirements to test cases and test scripts
Lead internal defect triage calls
Assist customer with UAT planning as needed
Assist with UAT defect triage calls
Liaison to customer Quality Assurance Lead
Maintain and communicate QA metrics to internal and customer stakeholders via status/metrics reports
Document and communicate QA-related risks to Project Management
Interact, communicate and follow through with development & customer teams throughout testing phase
Ability to adapt to customer processes and integrate them into day to day work as needed without compromising best practices and quality
Position Requirements:
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a testing capacity
Certified ISTQB Foundations
Strong understanding of IT Quality Assurance methodologies.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working experience in an Agile environment
Excellent communication skills required (in French & English) and ability to work independently
Great attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate and document defects
Understanding of test automation framework design models and best practices
Experience in the full software lifecycles from design to deployment
Ability to motivate people, instill accountability and achieve results
Nice to have:
1+ years of hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform.
SCRUM & Salesforce certification(s)
