Sales Strategy & Operations is a pivotal function at Salesforce, driving us toward profitable growth at scale. We collaborate closely with senior leaders, serving as trusted advisors who influence strategic business priorities, develop long-term GTM strategies, and implement effective operational processes, systems, and tools. We champion cross-functional transformational projects and lead change management initiatives, ensuring seamless business scaling across regions, segments, and clouds.

Now, we are seeking a motivated Sales Strategy Senior Analyst to join the EMEA South (Iberia, Italy, and EMEA Growth Markets) Sales Strategy team. As part of a diverse analyst talent community in the South and wider EMEA Sales Strategy Team, you'll delve into data, crafting insightful analyses and building robust reporting tools/assets that illuminate business performance. This role offers significant visibility to senior leaders across EMEA South, empowering you to translate data into actionable recommendations that drive the success of sales and cross-functional leadership.

Your responsibilities & impact:

  • Strategy and Execution Partner: Provide day-to-day support to sales strategy business partners and sales leaders on all aspects of execution, including forecasting calls, pipeline updates, AE performance reviews, etc.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Develop tools and dashboards that uncover new insights and findings for partners. Conduct ongoing analysis of business performance to support daily operations. Design and interpret key performance metrics, delivering data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Leadership Support: Assist the EMEA South Sales leadership team, contributing to the EMEA South operating cadence, key strategic projects, and ad-hoc tasks as needed.
  • Strategic Decision Making: Prepare analysis and recommendations to guide strategic decision-making. Lead EMEA South-level business reviews, strategic projects, and ambitious initiatives, ensuring smooth execution and impactful outcomes.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Support strategy business partners and sales leaders in driving all facets of Salesforce's EMEA South Go-to-Market strategy, including market segmentation, headcount planning, sales territory implementation, and quota setting.
  • Process Optimization: Advocate for and implement process improvements, seeking new ways to automate existing tasks and address operational issues. Propose effective changes to systems and processes to tackle root causes.

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Some demonstrated experience in sales operations, business operations, or consulting, preferably within an online/SaaS company with a strong analytical focus.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in CRM and Salesforce reporting, advanced expertise in G-suite applications (Sheets, Slides, etc.), and familiarity with Excel, SQL, Tableau/Alation/Snowflake, or other Business Intelligence tools.
  • Possesses strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, coupled with a detail-oriented and quality-focused approach.
  • Exhibits an entrepreneurial mindset, a drive to exceed expectations and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possesses strong teamwork skills, consistently championing others and leading by example.
  • Can work from our Madrid office at least 3 days a week.
