Prime ECS Account Executive - Tableau Central Public Sector Italy (Rome)
Tableau is on a mission to help people see and understand their data, and nowhere is this mission more important than in the Public Sector. With rising demands for programs and services, Tableau aims to support effective decision-making in this critical domain.
As part of the Enterprise Corporate Sales (ECS) team, you will be selling to Central Government Customers across Italy, including Central Administrations, Ministries, Defence, Large System Integrators and Police. You'll be instrumental in growing and managing a range of Public Sector accounts, partnering with our Strategic Account Executives to champion the Salesforce vision and drive transactional growth.
Candidate Profile

- Previous exposure to Tableau platform offerings.
- A strong desire for continuous personal development.
- A passion for the Public Sector and a motivation to leverage technology for positive change.
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to build trust across internal and Customer stakeholders.
- Proven experience in quota-carrying sales and account management, preferably in the technology industry.
- A successful history of new business sales, demonstrating consistent delivery against revenue targets.
- Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles.
- Previous Sales Methodology training, CRM experience, and strong Customer references.
- Knowledge and experience of the Public Sector.
- Fluency in English and Italian required.
- University Degree or equivalent experience.
- Office-flexible presence required; role based in Salesforce Rome office.
Some of Your Main Responsibilities and Deliverables Will Include
- Exceeding monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Creating and maintaining a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
- Managing the end-to-end sales process by engaging appropriate resources (Sales Engineers, Professional Services, Marketing, Partners, etc.).
- Contributing to account and sector strategy planning.
- Strengthening client relationships through regular engagement and face-to-face meetings.
- Organizing and managing industry events and user groups.
- Building campaigns to target new business growth.
- Ensuring forecast hygiene and accuracy.
- Generating new ideas to improve overall business performance.
